Obama, as head of Executive shirks duty in spending reductions

The sequester has been the law of the land since 2011.  Obama may have hoped he could make it go away.  It didn't.

His spokesman said all last week:  'there are only seven months left in the fiscal year, we cannot implement this magnitude of cuts in seven months.'

You certainly cannot with no planning.  It was his job as the head of the Executive branch of government to optimally plan for the implementation of the cuts.  He chose not to.  Last spring, for example, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, said, 'you can't plan for a meat axe.'  The Defense department did not begin planning for this until December.

Accurate Reality:  the administration has resisted planning properly for these cuts and they will have a significantly worse impact because of it.
